ART ON A CART
Moscow Wild at Art is now offering an on-site Arts program in an effort to bring "field trips" to you! Please see our selections below, then give us a call to schedule and calculate cost. Additional fees for schools outside of Moscow.
Menu Items Price P/P
(All items require 1 ½-2 hours of class time.)
Ceramic Hand-building Technique $3.00
Each student will work with clay to create a piece which we will then fire in our studio.
This could be customized for your particular classroom theme.
Pottery Painting Technique I $3.00
(In this lesson, students will paint their previously hand-built pieces. We will then fire
them again in our studio to complete the process.) This lesson will teach them the basics
of bisque painting. Note: If you choose not to do this portion in your classroom, students
can complete the process in our studio for the same price, or they can take their bisque
piece home without painting it.
Pottery Painting Technique II Variable
Teacher may pre-select items from the studio for the students to paint. Prices start at $3 for
a tile and go up from there. This is another good option if you have a particular theme or event
in mind. We have 200 different pieces to choose from, including insects, animals, bowls, plates,
cups and more! This lesson will include instruction on proper painting technique.
Customized Artful Lessons $3.00
Tell us your unit topic, we’ll design an art-inspiring activity related to that theme. Can be a
ceramics/pottery painting activity or a mixed media lesson.
Elements of Art Curriculum $3.00
Students will be guided through a hands-on art lesson by one or more of our professional
artists on staff. A variety of art mediums will be used in these lessons. Choose from the
following lessons based on the fundamental elements of art or schedule one every month
or two for a full art-based curriculum. Each student will create a work of art to take
home after each lesson.
