WILD WINTER WORKSHOPS

December 22:

Tie-Dye $15

All ages, adults too. 1-3 p.m. Come in and enjoy learning how to tie-dye! You can dye anything from a plain t-shirt to pillowcases. Bring your own white, cotton, pre-washed items and have some fun with the whole family!

December 23:

Book Making $20

Adults - Learn different ways of binding books. Create your own sketchbook, journal or anything! 1-3 p.m.

Children – Learn how to make all kinds of books. Put together a wild array of pages you create out of a variety of mixed media. We’ll bind the pages together to make a book! 1-3p.m.

December 26:

Mosaics $20

All ages, adults too. 1-3 p.m. Come in and learn to piece together tiles of glass in beautiful patterns. Glass will be cemented in grout. All participants will come away with a coaster or trivet.  

 December 29:

Mobiles $20

All ages, adults too. 1-3 p.m. Bring everyone in to learn to make mobiles. We’ll be taking colored wire and attaching beads and marbles to create fun and beautiful mobiles that can be hung anywhere.

December 30:

Artist Trading Cards $15

Kids of all ages. 1-3 p.m. Create miniature artworks from a variety of materials for yourself or to trade with others.

January 2:

Beautiful Buildings $20

Kids of all ages. 1-3 p.m. Have fun with clay, when you create your very own city filled with texture and detail. We’ll fire it and you come back to glaze it.

BEAD AND BOOK

Go crazy with each of these new classes, which will alternate monthly. Make everything from jewelry to mobile, and journals to accordian books.

KIDS CLAY (BIG GUYS)

Prepare to get goopy in this fun exploration of clay.   Learn basic terms and techniques.  Each participant will complete several projects, and will have the opportunity tocome back at a later date to paint their masterpieces.

Age group: 8 and up

PICASSO IN PROGRESS

Have fun while learning the elements and principles of art-the building blocks from which artists work.  Line, color, value, and texture are some of the topics that will be covered.

KNEE HIGH ART CLUB

Children 2 years and up learn readiness skills during art exploration activities. We'll read a story and then get messy with our fun art project!

Age group: 2-5 years old

COLLAGE AND PRINTMAKING (alternating monthly)

Have a great time mixing it up with a variety of collage projects, and then make your mark with different kinds of printmaking art from cards to wall art to personal stationary.

 PRIVATE LESSONS

All classes and more are offered as private lessons.

Choose from Clay, Watercolor, Acrylic, Drawing, Mixed Media, Glazing Technique

or custom design a class of your own.

Please call to schedule.

$30/hour for clay classes (includes instruction, 2 firings, paints and glazing)

$25/hour for all other general art classes (basic supplies included.)

 

 Pottery Throwing

Offered as a private lesson, or if you have experience you may use the wheel on your own.

Call to schedule an appointment. Cost is $10.00/pound of clay and includes 2 firings and glazing, plus $2.00/hour for wheel use. 

 

Fee Information:

Clay Classes:   1 hour class $54.00 (4 classes)   

Non-clay Art Classes (except for Knee High Art Club):       1 hour class $50.00 (4 classes)    

Supplies included in class fees. 

You must register for the entire session. Please note shorter sessions.

Fees must be paid by the first class attended.  Cancellations must occur at least 48 hours prior to day of class in order to get credit for class. Missed classes cannot be refunded. However, with 48 hours notice, we will give you credit for a future class.

Additional family members and seniors will receive a 10% discount on class fees. 

We reserve the right to cancel a class if enrollment drops below three students.
