Another wonderful session of creating with glass with local artist, Pam Arborgreen. This time in conjunction with ArtWalk 2018! The Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute will be hosting Pam and her fantastic windows on Friday afternoon at the PCEI Nature Center for their annual ArtWalk event. In conjunction with their event, we are offering TWO hands-on workshops the following day, Saturday, June 16, at the PCEI Nature Center. What a beautiful setting to let your creative juices flow! Creativity will take place out of doors, under the covered pavilion!
Each enrolled student will leave the class with a completed 11" by 14" wooden shadow box collage. All the supplies you'll need are included in the price of the ticket. Glass for this project comes from recycled bottles and household items and includes a broad spectrum of colorful stained glass pieces. We will use an adhesive to place glass pieces onto the shadow box glass. Pam is an excellent instructor and beginners are welcome. Bring a friend! (Because the class focuses the use of pieces of glass, students must be a min of 12 years of age.)
Pam is a Pullman resident who came to the Palouse years ago to attend the University of Idaho. She makes and shows her old windows as Artsy Old Windows at the Moscow Farmers Market. She also works for the Garfield Palouse School District.
