On February 13th, Girls Pint Out (the local chapter of a national craft beer organization for women), Wild at Art, Moscow Brewing Company, and Goose House Bakery are celebrating women's friendships with a Galentine’s Day event!
This holiday was created by the character Leslie Knope in the sitcom Parks and Recreation. As explained by Leslie: “Every February 13, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies.” While the show’s version involved a boozy brunch, this one will involve our favorite beverage: beer! Not only will you get to drink it and learn about it but you'll get to paint your very own pint glass to drink it out of! (Once you take it home and cure it, of course.)
This is a 21+ ladies-only event. It is open to ALL beer-loving and beer-curious women - no need to have attended a previous event or plan to attend any in the future. It will take place at Moscow Brewing Company and is limited to 25 attendees. The deadline to register is February 10th. There are no refunds for cancellation, but a credit to Wild at Art will be issued.
We will start gathering at Moscow Brewing Company at 6pm and the painting will start at 6:30pm sharp.
The price of the ticket is $35 and includes:
*All materials to paint your own pint glass (paint, brushes, stencils, glass) plus painting instruction from Wild at Art
*Sweet treats from Goose House Bakery as well as some other light snacks
*Four different tasting glasses of beer from Moscow Brewing Company
*Optional brewery tour
