Wild at Art to Open New Location in Lewiston, Idaho this Friday

Wild at Art is expanding from the Heart of the Arts, Moscow, Idaho, to a new location in Lewiston, scheduled to open the doors for business on Friday, May 13.

The new studio is located at 326 1/2 Main Street on the lower level of the Commercial Trust Building beneath Blue Lantern Coffee House and around the corner from the Lewiston City Library.

"The new studio is 1,000 square feet with an open area for anytime pottery and canvas painting and a private room in the sidewalk vault for special events," said Mark McLaughlin, co-owner of Wild at Art. "We're calling the private room the Art Cave due to its unique architectural features."

To kick off the opening, there will be a weekend long celebration in Lewiston from Friday, May 13 to Sunday, May 15. Pottery items will be 10% off and complimentary refreshments will be served. On May 21, a Wine & Canvas Night will be the first special event held in the Lewiston studio followed by the first Kids Canvas Day on June 4. Wild at Art is a paint your own pottery studio and artistic activity center that has been in the Moscow community for over a decade. No appointment is required during regular hours. All prices include the cost of the materials, necessary finishing services, and studio time.

"We're ecstatic to join the downtown Lewiston and LC Valley communities," McLaughlin said. "The response to our expansion announcement has been incredible and we can't wait to open the doors this Friday."
